Frequently Asked Questions

What are the class sizes?

We have a maximum of 6 swimmers in each of our classes and our teacher are in the pool with our beginner stages.

What age are swim lessons from?

Our bespoke Learn to Swim Programme starts from the age of 3 years.

 

How long are swimming lessons?

Our lessons are 30 minutes long, you can of course book more than 1 lesson a week if you wish.

 

How do I pay?

Once booked you will receive a confirmation email to allow you to make your initial payment and set up your recurring card payments. The fee is debited on the 1st of each month for the lessons in that particular month.

 

Do you give out Certificates?

Swimmers will receive a certificate once they have achieved each level.

 

Are lessons term time based or run all year?

This does depend on the venue you swim at, if we can we do operate 50 weeks a year.

 

How do I make a booking?

Does my child need to wear a swimming hat?

We provide a free hat  that  you will  receive when joining and then you will receive a new colour for each level your swimmer moves to. We do request that hats are worn.

 

How can I check my child's progress?

We offer a parent portal to allow you to track your swimmers progress, the portal also allows you to view upcoming holidays and payments.

 

How can I change my payment details?

If you wish to change card details, this can be done via your portal or you can contact us and we can send you a link to allow you to update.

 

What happens if my child misses a lesson?

As per our terms and conditions we are unable to provide an alternative lesson or refund for lessons you are unable to attend.

 

What happens if I want to cancel?

Simply email enquiries@swiftswimmers.co.uk, 1 months notice is required prior to the next payment.
